To Friends of Soul-Centered Healing:
This update has been in progress for some time. The way things develop, it seems the updates are out-of-date by the time they’re written. Concerning Soul-Centered Healing, there has been significant activity on various fronts, and it seems that several elements are starting to align. I wanted to share with you the most significant. I’m going to do it as a bulleted list, just to keep it organized in my own head.
- The training of hypnotherapists in the practice of SCH is ongoing. I have been conducting training for three groups over the past two and a half years. The training has been both extensive and intensive. Last week, two groups commenced Level V training. Their training started in early 2021 and they are currently practicing SCH or integrating it into their healing work. Most have expressed a desire to continue their training, leading to the development of Level V which began in late July. The third group, which had begun training in the fall of 2022, started Level III training in late July. They are on course to finish Level IV by next spring or early summer.
- After much consideration, I’ve decided that the current Level III group I am training will be the final group I personally instruct. I will discuss plans for training future candidates with those I have trained. They will have access to all training materials and recordings from the initial three groups. I will likely participate in the planning process and have a limited role if possible. When such a training course becomes available, it will be posted on the website.
- A recent development involves the hiring of a web design company to create a new website for Soul-Centered Healing. While I cannot provide a specific launch date, I will send out an email notification when the new site is live. My goal is to create a well-organized and easily navigable website where visitors can easily find the information they seek. The new website will include a dedicated page identifying SCH practitioners along with their contact information. Currently, I send this list individually to those who request information via email. The website will also feature links to various talks and interviews I have conducted over the years on Soul-Centered Healing.
- I was recently featured as a guest on two interview programs. If you’re interested, you can find the links below:
- One of the most exciting updates is the near completion of the Spanish translation of Soul-Centered Healing: A Psychologist’s Extraordinary Journey into the Realms of Sub-Personalities, Spirits, and Past Lives. Spanish is the second most spoken language in Western culture, and it’s exciting to think information about Gerod and Soul-Centered Healing will reach a new audience. Once I have the final translation for the cover and content, I will initiate the publication process. I’ll provide more details about the unfolding of this process in the announcement. A notification email will be sent when a publication date is confirmed.
- As with the original book, I plan to have the book converted to digital and made available as an ebook. This should happen soon after the paperback is published.
- As I re-enter the world of digital publishing, I have decided to make my second and third books available as e-books also. Until now, The Practice of Soul-Centered Healing Vols. I & II have only been available in paperback. I cannot provide a projected completion date yet for these conversions and the subsequent availability of the books. I will share this information on the website and send out email notifications.
Finally, this month marks the 36th anniversary of Soul-Centered Healing. I first met Gerod on August 1, 1987. After several sessions, we embarked on a collaborative journey—Katherine, Gerod, and myself—dedicated to healing. As a seeker from a young age, working with Gerod felt like winning the lottery. His guidance and insights were pivotal in unveiling the layers of the psychic and spiritual dimensions of the self and reality. Over our 15-year dialogue, Gerod narrated the stories of individual souls on their unique paths to awakening. It is the old Sufi story: “There are as many paths to God as there are souls on Earth.” I perceive Soul-Centered Healing as a powerful method for aiding individuals in removing obstacles and embracing their innate Light as a soul incarnate and a connection to the Divine. This narrative is the essence of my first book, Soul-Centered Healing: A Psychologist’s Extraordinary Journey into the Realms of Sub-Personalities, Spirits, and Past Lives.
To mark this anniversary, I’ve decided to release the final chapter of that book, titled “The Soul,” into the public domain. The book was published in 2010, and in my own estimation, this chapter has withstood the test of time. I don’t intend to suggest it represents the definitive word on the soul, but rather it’s a faithful representation of what Gerod imparted to me over those years. I am thankful to all those who have participated in and supported this unfolding—that includes those “on Earth and in heaven.” (To read or share Chapter 18: The Soul, click here.)
Wishing you all blessings and Light.
